About Us
Freyaldenhoven Heating and Cooling has served Conway, AR and the surrounding communities since 1970, building a reputation for careful workmanship, practical solutions, and a neighborly approach to comfort. Founded by Bob and Buck Freyaldenhoven, our company grew with the city, moving into our Front Street location in 1989 and later transitioning leadership to their sons, Scott and John, in 1999. In 2006, we expanded with a dedicated mechanical division to meet the specialized needs of commercial clients. Through every change, one constant has remained: do the job right, treat people fairly, and stand behind every recommendation.
Today, Freyaldenhoven Heating and Cooling provides a full range of residential and commercial HVAC services. Homeowners regularly turn to our team for heat pump installation, system replacement, seasonal maintenance, precision repairs, ductless mini-split setups, furnace and air conditioner service, indoor air quality improvements, smart thermostat upgrades, and ductwork solutions. On the commercial side, our mechanical division supports offices, schools, healthcare spaces, retail, and light industrial environments with design-assist projects, equipment retrofits, rooftop unit replacements, and planned maintenance that helps keep operations steady and efficient.
Every project begins with listening. Whether it’s a heat pump installation for a historic Conway bungalow or a right-sized system for a growing family’s new build, we consider insulation, duct condition, comfort goals, and energy priorities before proposing equipment. Technicians explain options plainly, compare efficiency ratings, and outline life-cycle costs so the choice feels informed—not rushed. Installations are coordinated to minimize disruption, with clean work practices and follow-up walkthroughs to ensure controls, airflow, and performance are dialed in.
Commercial clients value the same thoroughness. From refreshing older package units to planning phased upgrades that fit a budget cycle, our mechanical specialists coordinate with owners, facility managers, and general contractors to reduce downtime. We pay close attention to code requirements, ventilation standards, and manufacturer specifications, and we document the details so maintenance is simpler over the long haul.
